The tour begins inside Pilar 7, one of the massive concrete pillars supporting the bridge structure. It’s here where visitors learn about the history and engineering of the 25th of April Bridge. Informative displays, models, and multimedia exhibits detail the construction process, the technology used, and the challenges faced during its creation. You’ll soon appreciate the bridge's design and its role in connecting Lisbon to Almada across the Tagus River.
Then the fun begins as you take the elevator to top of the bridge where you’ll step out onto the panoramic glass observation deck, located 80 meters above ground. This platform offers breathtaking views of Lisbon, the Tagus River, and the surrounding areas, including Belem. Standing on the glass floor with the river below and the bridge’s structure above, visitors can feel the grandeur and scale of the bridge as the traffic on the upper deck rushes past you.

For a more immersive perspective, the Pilar 7 tour includes virtual reality experiences where visitors can view the bridge as if they’re a worker during its construction or watch panoramic scenes of the surrounding landscape from different angles.
